Ambiente e criminalità organizzata transnazionale: quale futuro per la cooperazione giudiziaria e di polizia? – Virginia Oddi
La criminalità organizzata ambientale ha ormai assunto una portata transnazionale degna di autonoma riflessione, considerata l’elevata tecnicità e lo scarso rilievo datole dal mondo giudiziario. La cooperazione fra Stati, dentro e fuori l’Unione europea, affronta oggi nuove sfide: occorre siano predisposti rinnovati strumenti atti a contrastare efficacemente tale fenomeno. Lo studio prende le mosse, perciò, dallo stato dell’arte e si sofferma sul futuribile, benché complesso, sviluppo degli strumenti processuali sovranazionali.
Environmental organized crime has now taken on a transnational scope worthy of independent consideration, due to the high technicality and low prominence given to it by the judiciary. Cooperation between States, inside and outside the European Union, now faces new challenges: renewed tools must be put in place to effectively counter this phenomenon. The study, therefore, takes the state of the art as its starting point and dwells on the future of the supranational procedural instruments.
